Checklist

• Discuss in your group story ideas and illustrations/photographs.
• Plan research and interviews as required (these may need to be done at school or as homework).
• Prepare questions.
• Conduct interviews and take notes (again, these may need to be done as homework).
• Write a draft of your article/interview/letter to the editor etc.
• Edit and correct draft writing.
• Organise visual material - this includes gathering any images you may need eg clipart, photographs (remember COPYRIGHT!)
• Plan layout and design for the newspaper.
• Check each page of the newspaper.
• Print and publish online.
